Welcome to Wolfscastle Country Hotel, one of the leading hotels in Pembrokeshire. This Pembrokeshire hotel has been under the continual ownership of hotelier Andrew Stirling since 1976 and this year will be one of 40th anniversary celebrations. Coming from a wine merchant and restaurant background – his parents owning the “Hat & Feather restaurant” in Cheshire – Andrew trained in Switzerland and France.
Back in the 1600s Allt yr Afon was a simple cottage and was subsequently redesigned into a 7 bedroom Vicarage by the Edwards family who owned Sealyham mansion and created the famous Sealyham dog breed. Over the years we have developed the hotel so that none of the original walls on the ground floor are on the exterior of the building. With a passion for good food we believe we create some of the best dining experiences to be found in Wales – come and enjoy!

Every bedroom at Wolfscastle is individually designed with modern furnishings using award winning fabrics from Pembrokeshire’s Melin Tregwynt Woollen Mill.
There are 20 fabulous rooms to choose from. Our hotel is a careful blend of the old and the new, the rooms have been individually designed and are luxurious with modern furnishings. Each room has been recently refurbished and has private bathroom with shower, telephone, satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities.
Of the 20 bedrooms, there are five larger Stirling rooms with seating area and deluxe bathroom.

We have gained an enviable reputation for our cuisine and in particular for the use of fresh local Pembrokeshire produce, caringly prepared by our chefs. The Allt yr Afon restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence and offers a gracious setting in a Victorian style dining room, providing the perfect intimate dining experience accompanied by professional and friendly service. For more informal dining enjoy our Brasserie, the choice is all yours. In 2016 we were honoured to be one of only three restaurants in Wales shortlisted in the Observer Food Monthly Awards. Open daily from 6pm – 9pm for dinner
