The Stables, Home Farm is set in 80 acres of glorious English countryside, one mile east of Ashdown Forest in the High Weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Originally a Victorian farm, the Stables nestle beside a Sussex barn giving it a sheltered and secluded setting.
The pretty country garden looks out across the wildflower meadows to the beautiful private woods beyond and all of this is accessible to visitors.
The interior has been sensitively restored with many original features including stable doors, beams and a vaulted living room and all twenty first century comforts.

The owners are committed to promoting local sustainable tourism and the property is a Green Tourism Gold Award holder and accredited as Walkers and Cyclist welcome. Solar panels have been installed and logs provided are from the Home Farm woods.
Visitors are provided with information about the High Weald, and local places to visit, eat and shop. There are home-made food boxes and other services that can be ordered prior to arrival.

The Stables are delightfully rural and yet close to amenities. They are easily accessible by public transport and a regular bus service passes the door. At the Stables you can enjoy walking from your doorstep through the woods to the local pub or onto Ashdown Forest, looking out for deer, badgers birds and wildflowers on your way; you can enjoy attractive local villages, pubs and regional food and wine. This part of Sussex offers a wealth of attractions from the bustle of Brighton to the peace of gardens, farms and country houses. If going further afield takes your fancy the South East and London are all easily accessible. This conversion offers a superb getaway, for everyone, in a truly unspoilt location.
