A warm welcome and spectacular scenery awaits you at this former Welsh manor house dating back from 1644.

Sygun Fawr is located an unrivalled position in the heart of North Wales' beautiful Snowdonia National Park, just a short walk away from the picturesque village of Beddgelert.
Set within 22 acres of mountainside and gardens, peace and tranquility are assured at this ultimate mountain retreat offering an idyllic setting for exploring the magnificent natural beauty and the dramatic scenery of North Wales' coasts and mountains.
Nestled into the hillside and built of solid stone, Sygun Fawr has exposed walls, oak beams and inglenooks, which all add to the traditional character, relaxed &informal ambience and atmosphere of this unique country house.

We offer bed and breakfast with the option of dinner and have a residential licence. We aim to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Sygun Fawr has a home from home atmosphere and we are sure that you will enjoy your stay with us. Sygun Fawr has some of the best hotel rooms and views in Beddgelert.

All of the 12 rooms are individually designed and have been thoughtfully refurbished to offer high quality accommodation.
All rooms have:
o En suite facilities

o Radio alarm

Most rooms have views out over the local mountains including Sygun, Yr Aran and Y Lliwedd and Moel Siabod.
The three deluxe rooms are the largest and are highly recommended, all have settees to relax in comfort.
The three superior rooms have king size beds and en suite shower rooms
The six standard rooms have either an en suite shower room or bathroom and a standard double bed or twin beds.

The restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents.

You can enjoy home made dishes from our a la carte menu, freshly prepared and cooked using local produce whenever possible.

The dining room is set in the oldest part of the building and has antique furniture, low beams and an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, or you can dine in the contemporary conservatory which has splendid views of the garden and surrounding mountainside.

The convivial surroundings and ambience provides a relaxed and informal atmosphere to enjoy excellent food and wine.
Whatever your choice we are here to offer you a warm, friendly service. Many of our guests return time and time again.
