Situated in Grade I-Listed buildings, the oldest part of the college dates from 1677 and is attributed to Sir Christopher Wren. By day, Sarum is a working further education college and conference venue. Many students choose to stay at Sarum while attending courses but our rooms and hospitality are open to all.
Forty guest bedrooms are en-suite, many are recently refurbished. The Wren bedrooms at the front of the College have uninterrupted views of the Cathedral, several others have lovely views overlooking the rooftops of the Close and spire. Rooms are single, double and twin; all have tea and coffee-making facilities. There are no televisions in bedrooms however guests may use the one in the Wilson Room or simply make use of the free wifi throughout the building.
For the traveller on a budget there are also a limited number of no-frills standard rooms with shared bath/shower and toilet facilities.
The lift gives access to all the floors, and there is a common room with easy chairs and licensed bar for guest use.
