Ravenshill was built in 1874 as the home of the Factor of the Estate of Lockerbie. There is an attractive garden with lawns, a patio area, mature trees, and a large private car park. It has been converted to a hotel retaining many of the traditional features but with all modern comforts.
We aim for a warm, friendly and relaxed air at Ravenshill hotel Lockerbie. We are easy to find from the A74 motorway, we are situated in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village 5 minutes walk west of the town centre on the A709.
We have seven individual bedrooms, including a family suite, all of which have double or twin beds, most with views of our garden and the surrounding countryside.
Two of our rooms also have double bed settees so we can accommodate families with young children together. One large double room has a four-poster bed.
All bedrooms have digital television, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and en-suite facilities. We also have free wireless internet throughout the hotel.
From the conservatory there is disabled access to the ground floor of the hotel and direct access to the lawns which are bordered by mature trees.
You’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome in our lounge bar, with its real log fire. We keep a fine range of wines, beers and spirits in stock, including a wide range of whiskeys to please the most discerning connoisseur!
Our a la carte menu is served every day except Fridays, when we serve a Carvery Dinner. And on Sunday when we serve a traditional lunch with local joints, fresh fish and a selection of other dishes including a vegetarian option on request.
