Elsdon is a quintessential Northumbrian village, a complete example of a medieval settlement in this stunning area which is overlooked by hills on all sides, amidst rolling moors and grasslands.

The market town of Rothbury is 13 miles and Otterburn is only 4 miles. The stunning Northumbrian coast and the must-see Hadrian’s Wall is less than an hour’s drive. The Scottish Borders and Kielder Water Forest are around 30 minutes away. Horseriding is within walking distance and there is fishing at Caistron Lake.
