Less than 5 minutes away from the beach at Seaford, and with an enclosed garden, Kingsway Court provides an excellent base for couples or families to explore the beautiful Sussex coast or South Downs National Park. The main bedroom on the first floor has a balcony which gives way to lovely sea views. Visit Seaford Museum housed in Martello Tower 74, one of 103 towers built to protect the coast from invasion during early Napoleonic times. The Seven Sisters Country Park, which has working farms, chalk cliffs and meandering river valleys, provides excellent opportunities for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and canoeists. The classic cliff top walk, one of the finest coastal walks in England, includes stunning views including Beachy Head before descending into Eastbourne. Conveniently, the number 12 bus runs from Eastbourne to Seaford and on to Brighton, every 10 minutes. The port of Newhaven is 3 miles to the west, bring your passport and take the ferry to Dieppe where September heralds the kite festival. Drusillas Zoo covering a 10-acre park, Herstmonceux science centre, Lewes Castle and the British Airways i360 Tower in Brighton all make for memorable days out. There are 2 good golf courses close by.
