The classic cliff top walk, one of the finest coastal walks in England, includes stunning views including Beachy Head before descending into Eastbourne. Conveniently, the number 12 bus runs from Eastbourne to Seaford and on to Brighton, every 10 minutes. The port of Newhaven is 3 miles to the west, bring your passport and take the ferry to Dieppe where September heralds the kite festival. Drusillas Zoo covering a 10-acre park, Herstmonceux science centre, Lewes Castle and the British Airways i360 Tower in Brighton all make for memorable days out. There are 2 good golf courses close by.
