In a secluded location along a quiet lane with lovely views across open fields, this superb barn conversion which dates back to the early 1800s is beautifully presented to offer charming accommodation with immense character. A wealth of attractive features including flagstone floors, beams and open stonework add to the charm of its former days, with a log burning stove for cooler days, and complemented with quality furnishings to a very high standard, it is a warm and welcoming country retreat at any time of year.
Situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, it is an absolute haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, with walks from the doorstep. On warmer days the patio is ideal for outdoor dining or simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this unspoilt scenic area.
There are numerous attractions in the area including the Steam Preservation Railway at nearby Pickering, Dalby Forest and Castle Howard with the coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey within easy driving distance.
