One of the larger villages of Upper Wharfedale, Kettlewell’s houses are built on both banks of Cam Beck as it tumbles down to meet the River Wharfe, is an excellent centre for exploring the wider regions of the Yorkshire Dales. It has three pubs, facilities for day to day shopping, Post Office, playground with excellent modern equipment and beautiful walks along the fells or more gentle strolls along the river banks. Kettlewell was also used as a location for the recent movie ’Calendar Girls’. Heathlands, situated at the top of the village, is a stone built detached house with most of the windows providing magnificent views down the dale. It has an integral garage, ample parking, a patio and gardens making it ideal for a family holiday.
