In a setting of stunning natural beauty in Exmoor National Park, Triscombe Farm Country Cottages are a combination of 19th century cottages and skilful conversions from existing farm buildings. Leisure facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool, games room and all weather tennis court (please bring your own racquets and balls). Natural water is provided from our own spring.
With unspoilt countryside all around, and reached by a long, sweeping driveway, the country cottages are nestling in a sheltered, wooded valley overlooking the River Quarme. Each of the cottages has been individually styled and equipped to offer comfortable holiday accommodation.
The cottages make the perfect base for holidays at any time of the year. There are five acres of lovely gardens for you to enjoy and explore. A stream cascades through the hillside garden, there is ample space to sit and relax, or enjoy a family picnic or barbecue. Spectacular views across the valley to Dunkery Beacon unfold as you wander around. Badgers, buzzards, foxes, red deer and an abundance of birdlife can often be seen, so don’t forget your binoculars. Bracken Cottage B5817 is a ground floor cottage with valley views, Rose Cottage B5810 is a cosy family cottage, Coachman’s Cottage B5813 is a spacious original cottage overlooking the courtayard and Garden Cottage B5812 and Orchard Cottage B5811 are ‘upside down’ cottages with farmland views.
