Welcome to the Castletown Hotel, Caithness, Near Thurso. The Castletown Hotel was formerly the St Clair Arms Hotel Caithness which was bought in June 2007 by Andrew and Sandy Mackay, two local brothers.

Nestled in the curve of Dunnet Bay, within the picturesque fishing village of Castletown, our family-run hotel is perfect for exploring Caithness, offering quality, affordable accommodation with free Wi-Fi and parking.

The Hotel features 24 en-suite bedrooms, each of which has been lovingly decorated and furnished to a very comfortable standard.
All rooms come fully equipped with all the necessary amenities one needs to make their stay as cosy as possible, including free Wi-Fi access, flat screen TV with freeview, hairdryer, duvets and complimentary tea & coffee making facilities.

It is central to explore the fabulous landscape and wildlife Caithness has to offer, and is just minutes from the Castle of Mey. There is even a chance to witness a wide selection of wildlife on the crossings of the Orkney ferries.
