The Castle Coaching Inn, a small, family-run 3 star A fine 17th century Georgian coaching inn and restaurant, in the 800 year old village of Trecastle near Sennybridge in the Brecon Beacons National Park. South Wales. The Hotel is privately owned and managed by John, Val and Andrew Porter who take pleasure in personally welcoming their guests and doing what they can to help them get the most out of their stay in a perfect location from which to enjoy the crystal clear lakes and breathtaking mountains of mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park.
We have seperate bar and restaurant area that share the same menu throughout. We source as many of our ingredients as locally as we can, particularly of note is the excellent meat we get from Brecon-based butcher Paddy Sweeney. Our local slow-cooked lamb is our signature dish and we get a lot of good feedback on our Welsh Black 28-day aged sirloin steaks.
