The Brambletye has been a hotel since 1866 and we can offer a warm welcome in comfortable surroundings. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the Sherlock Holmes novels featured the Brambletye Inn in The Adventures of Black Peter when Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson stayed at the hotel while carrying out their investigation in the story.

Situated in the centre of the lovely village of Forest Row in East Sussex, It is ideally placed for a week-end of relaxation with Royal Ashdown Forest close by. Forest Row is a short drive from Gatwick airport, near enough for an early or late night but far enough to enjoy a quiet night.

The Two Two One restaurant and The Bram Bar at the Brambletye Hotel serves home-cooked lunch and dinner, using local produce.
