Braeside Guesthouse is set in the beautiful scenery of West Argyll, Scotland, overlooking Loch Feochan.
Located three miles South of the pretty sea port of Oban, Braeside offers superb views of the Argyll countryside.
All of the rooms are on the ground floor and are en-suite, with tea and coffee making facilities and free high speed broadband. Televisions with DVD players are provided and there are books, magazines and DVDs available in the guest lounge.
In our guest dining room/lounge overlooking Loch Feochan we offer our famous Scottish breakfast menu, and of an evening our delicious home cooked three course meals.
We have a well-stocked bar, offering over 100 single malt whiskies and an extensive wine cellar. Comfortable en suite twin, triple and king size rooms are available.
Guests have access to Braeside throughout the day, and there is ample on site parking.
Braeside is a non-smoking house and we regret we do not have facilities for pets.
Braeside has the advantage of a peaceful and rural setting, yet is within reach (three miles) of Oban with all it’s additional attractions and facilities, offering excellent leisure and sporting activities. Often referred to as “The Gateway to the Islands”, Oban and the surrounding area are the ideal base for a Scottish Holiday.
There are a wide variety of tours and excursions operating daily to the Isles of Mull, Iona and Staffa. Visits to Glencoe, Appin, Fort William and Inverarry are but a few of the many interesting places in our vicinity, with spectacular views round every bend.
Braeside is an ideal base for touring or walking with an abundance of sea or loch fishing, bird watching, hiking, cycling, canoeing, horseriding, sailing, golfing and diving.
Quite simply there is something for everyone, whatever your taste!
