Set in Dunvegan, 35 km from Portree, Blas is a small, seasonal café based in the village of Dunvegan on the west coast of the Isle of Skye.
The rooms behind Blas were originally a store, but have now been converted into two, tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms. The rooms have small fridges for milk and your continental breakfast.
The café is open daily serving traditional Scottish cooked breakfasts, through to morning coffees, lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals. Meats are sourced locally from Lochalsh Butchers, the venison is from a local Skye gamekeeper and the fish is from the local fishmonger Andy Race.
Beside the cafe there is a tiny takeaway which is open every night. The fish is delivered regularly from the local fishmonger, Andy Race. Each takeaway is cooked freshly to order, whether it is only a portion of home made onion rings or fish and chips for all the family. There is a childrens menu and new for 2020 they are able to offer gluten free options.
Blas Rooms offers a restaurant and free WiFi.
