Berthllwyd is a beautifully refurbished traditional cottage near Llanidloes with 600m of private fishing on the banks of the River Severn.
This is a lovely location, with plenty of playing space (fenced) and a secluded riverside garden with barbecue where you can sit and watch the wildlife. Cyclepath/walkway links to the town, 0.75 mile away, and further walks in the area; bikes are available from the owner.

his is an ideal location for lovers of the countryside and outdoor activities, with birdwatching, golf, Llyn Clywedog for fishing and sailing, nature trails, mountain biking in Hafren Forest and Glyndwr's Way nearby. Storage available for bikes and fishing tackle. Visit the stunning Elan Valley and the Red Kite Feeding Station at Rhayader, National Cycle Museum at Llandrindod Wells and Abbey Cwm Hir museum, house and gardens. The coast at Aberystwyth, or the sandy beach at Ynyslas are about 40 minutes' drive away.


The cottage is maintained to a very high standard and retains attractive period features.
The smart fitted kitchen diner includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a woodburner.
There is a cosy lounge with electric stove and TV, two spacious beamed bedrooms (one double, the other a family room with double bed and single bed) and a downstairs bath/shower room.
WiFi available and central heating is run off the owner's system, whose home adjoins.
Electricity and oil central heating included.
Bed linen and towels provided.
Cot and highchair available.
