Berthllwyd is a beautifully refurbished traditional cottage near Llanidloes with 600m of private fishing on the banks of the River Severn. This is a lovely location, with plenty of playing space (fenced) and a secluded riverside garden with barbecue where you can sit and watch the wildlife. Cyclepath/walkway links to the town, 0.75 mile away, and further walks in the area; bikes are available from the owner.

The coast at Aberystwyth, or the sandy beach at Ynyslas are about 40 minutes' drive away.
