The Alyth Hotel, situated in the town square at the centre of Alyth, overlooking the Alyth Burn, provides a warm, comfortable and friendly base from which to explore the many walks and Glens. It is also close to Glamis, Kirriemuir, Blairgowrie and Dunkeld, and less than 20 miles from Perth and Dundee.
In years gone by the Alyth Hotel was formely a coaching Inn incorporating the town's principle coffee house.
We have twelve en-suite rooms situated over two floors. All our rooms are tasefully decorated and are en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities and television.
Our restaurant offers our guests a genuine taste of Scotland, using the very best of local produce. All our meals are freshly prepared on the premises and our friendly caring staff will only be too pleased to look after you so you can relax and enjoy the occasion. We also have a fine wine cellar from which you can select the right wine to complement your meal.
After your meal you can relax in the lounge bar and chat to some of the locals or you might like to round off your evening with a liqueur or even sample one or two drams from our extensive range of malt whiskys.
From a sheltered position on the fringe of the Highlands, Alyth nestles snugly above Strathmore, Scotland's most fertile valley. Guarded by the ruined arches of its ancient church and famed for it's magical Den the town provides an starting point for touring the many beauty spots of Perthshire, Angus and the Grampian Highlands.
