The Woodside Hotel, dating back to 1873, is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Kingdom of Fife village of Aberdour. Perfectly situated, Aberdour sits on the north bank of the Firth of Forth and the village boasts a beautiful beach, harbour and famous castle as well as a charming selection of local shops.

The Woodside is an excellent base for discovering what Scotland has to offer, whether you’re after a golfing, walking or driving break, or prefer to immerse yourself in the rich history of Edinburgh. By train, we are only half an hour from the centre of Edinburgh making us an ideal location for day trips. Trains run regularly between Edinburgh and Aberdour station, which is less than a five minute walk from us. The journey itself is worth doing for the views from the world famous Forth Bridge.
